1. Scholarships / JASSO Scholarships (amounts indicated are those for academic year 2020)
Graduate School Type 1 Scholarship (interest-free)
Monthly loan of ¥50,000 or ¥88,000 (Master’s Program)
Monthly loan of ¥80,000 or ¥122,000 (Doctoral Program)
Graduate School Type 2 Scholarship (with interest)
Monthly loan of ¥50,000, ¥80,000, ¥100,000, ¥130,000, or ¥150,000 (Master’s and Doctoral Programs)
2. Waiver of tuition fees
Students who have an excellent academic record and who have difficulties paying the tuition fees may, upon filing a request and their request being accepted, be exempted from payment of the tuition fees in whole or in part.
