Naomi Yagi Laboratory
She received the B.E. degree in Engineering from Himeji Institute of Technology in 1998 and Ph.D. in Engineering from University of Hyogo in 2014. She worked as a researcher at Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. She served as an Associate Professor, Advanced Medical Engineering Research Institute in 2022 and Graduate School of Information Science in 2025, University of Hyogo. She received IEEE Senior Member and Google Anita Borg Scholarship Award. She has been studying medical and healthcare related system using Artificial Intelligence, signal processing technology, and statical analysis for medical diagnosis support or health checkup. Aim to provide better medical care with human biometrics information, it is developing algorithms and systems, and analyzing medical dynamic 3D images and big data such as detecting and predicting abnormalities.
